Science Communication in the World

On April 18th in Florence under the PCST 12th International Conference was presented the book Science Communication in the World: Practices, Theories and Trends.

The book, published at the initiative of the international network PCST Academy, provides information about public communication of science and technology in the world from India to South Africa to China or Korea.

Chapter 13 entitled Spanish PCST and the European Science in Society Strategy is written by Vladimir de Semir Director's Observatory of Scientific Communication of the UPF.

Other articles in the book discusses the challenge to provide the public the enormous human scientific knowledge, others discuss the situation of science in universities or initiatives to promote scientific culture.
